Season Ticket Holders
2009 Invoice & Payment Options
To better serve our customers, the Kansas City Chiefs have changed the season ticket payment options for 2009. You will have two options to pay for your season tickets: 1) pay in full by the due date of March 2, 2009; or 2) participate in the EZ Pay plan in which your credit or debit card will be billed in four equal installments: on the date you sign up for EZ Pay (must be no later than March 2), April 1, May 1 and June 1. EZ Pay is the only payment plan the Chiefs currently offer, and we hope that it will provide you with the flexibility and convenience that we believe our fans deserve.
In years past, we had a significant number of seats tied up in accounts that eventually cancelled so they weren’t available to other season ticket holders in our Seat Upgrade Program. Our goal with the EZ Pay plan is to reward our most loyal season ticket holders by giving you a chance to obtain the best possible seats during our Seat Upgrade Program.
To pay online or enroll in the EZ Pay plan, please follow the steps below by March 2:
- Create or access your existing user account at www.mychiefsaccount.com.
- Once you have logged in, select the View/Pay My Chiefs Invoice link on the left side of the welcome page, to review your invoice.
- Under Step 2 - Payment Options, select either the Single Payment option to pay in full or Chiefs EZ Pay to take advantage of the four installments.
- Under Step 3 - Billing, you must enter your credit or debit card information. You must complete the information requested, even if your initial payment reflects $0 due to an account credit. Otherwise, you must make an initial payment of twenty-five (25%) percent of your invoice fee with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover credit or debit card.
- Step 4 - Confirmation will provide you with a summary of your payments on a confirmation page.
When you authorize the use of the EZ Pay program, you are permitting the Chiefs or Ticketmaster to automatically charge your credit or debit card in twenty-five (25%) percent increments of the total invoice fee. Your credit or debit card will be charged for the first twenty-five (25%) percent of the invoice fee, minus any credits, when you sign up for the EZ Pay program, and the three (3) remaining payments of twenty-five (25%) percent of your invoice fee will be charged automatically on April 1, May 1, and June 1 of 2009. Any declined credit or debit card transactions will have a $25.00 fee assessed to the account for each declined transaction.
Cancelled accounts will be subject to a 10% administration fee if cancellation is requested after initial payment is received. Calculation of the 10% administrative fee will be based on the entire season ticket fee.
In the event that the Kansas City Chiefs qualify for the NFL playoffs, statements will be mailed to season ticket holders in November with a payment deadline of the first week in December.
Please don’t hesitate to contact our Ticket Office with any questions regarding your invoice or payment at 816.920.9400 or via email at seasontickets@chiefs.nfl.com.

CHIEFS FANS GIVE BACK
The Kansas City Chiefs and Ticketmaster are teaming up with Chiefs fans to give back to the community through the donation of tickets to the team’s home games.
By donating Chiefs tickets you are unable to use or by purchasing them for the purpose of donating them, ticket holders have an opportunity to pass them along to underprivileged youth from Big Brothers/Big Sisters or to a member of our Armed Forces.
The specific charity will issue you a receipt for the value of the tickets that you can use for your tax purposes.
For those who receive donated tickets, the Chiefs, the stadium’s concessionaires including Centerplate and Levy Restaurants will provide a complimentary small soda and hot dog.
To donate tickets click on this link to be directed to My Chiefs Account. Log onto your account and go to the Manage Your Tickets section. Follow the Ticketmaster instructions on how to forward the tickets free of charge to Chiefs Charities.
To allow the charities sufficient time to distribute the donated tickets, tickets must be donated THREE days prior to the game date.

SEAT UPGRADE PROGRAM
The Chiefs held seats back from season ticket purchases and the Seat Upgrade Program in 2008 due to construction needs. These seats will be released and utilized during the 2009 Seat Upgrade Program which will take place from late March through April. The Seat Upgrade Program provides our fans with a great opportunity to upgrade locations. Appointments are established based on the length of time you have been a Chiefs season ticket holder. You will receive a postcard in the mail with the date and time you may contact us to discuss options. You may either call the Seat Upgrade Hotline or appear in person at the Ticket Office for your appointment. Seat selection will be subject to availability. Only season ticket holders that are paid in full or have made their first payment on the EZ Pay plan will be able to participate. To participate, check the box on the front of the invoice and return to the Chiefs, or go online to www.mychiefsaccount.com under View/Pay My Chiefs Invoice and check “Yes” under the Seat Upgrade Question box. Changes are not mandatory and a $20 fee is assessed only if your seat location is changed and/or seats are added to your account.
