Biography

Robert Alberino is in his third season as the Vice President of Media and Marketing. He oversees all the club’s media partnerships and in-house production team, 65 Toss Power Trap Productions. He maintains KCChiefs.com and plays a role in the club’s marketing initiatives.

Since Alberino’s arrival, 65TPT has garnered the most broadcast and event-production accolades in team history. The crew became the first NFL club to win a New York Festival Award for its work on The New Arrowhead Grand Opening and has followed that honor with a second in as many years for scriptwriting. They have also been awarded the franchise’s first 18 Emmy Awards (NATAS Mid-American Chapter) in Chiefs history, and have captured 41 National Telly Awards.

Alberino has also been influential in the exponential growth of KCChiefs.com. Under Alberino, the Chiefs have used a variety of social media platforms to become one of the fastest growing teams in North America.

Alberino spent 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (1997-09). During his time with Philadelphia, Alberino was nominated for 140 Regional Emmys and was honored as the winner of 38 statues. The New Haven, Conn. native also received over 100 Tellys and numerous regional accolades for his work with the Eagles Television Network, which he pioneered in his first year with the team.

Alberino was a filmmaker for NFL Films where he served as a writer/director for HBO’s Emmy Award-winning program, "Inside the NFL." Alberino also worked at television and radio stations in both Pennsylvania and Connecticut. He continues to serve on the Board of Governors of The First Twenty, a non-profit organization that benefits volunteer firefighters and was recently bestowed an honorary enlistment in the United States Army as a Specialist for his work with local bases and the 56th Theater Information Operations Group.
