How acquired:

Signed by Kansas City as an undrafted free agent (5/19/14).

 

NFL Career Highlights:

  • Rookie kicker enters his first NFL season with Kansas City in 2014 after being signed by the club as a college free agent on May 19, 2014.

 

College:

Played in 50 career games, scoring 312 points after hitting 61-of-78 field goals (.782) and 129-of-132 PATs (.980) while punting 15 times for 615 yards (41.0 avg) and kicking off 190 times for 11,887 yards (62.6 avg) and 78 touchbacks to go with three solo tackles ... His 26 made field goals (2012, 2013) is the second longest streak in NCAA history ... Sits atop the Tulane career record book in field goal percentage (.782) while ranking second in total points scored and points scored kicking (312), field goals made (61) and field goal attempts (78), third in PATs made  (129) and PAT attempts (132), and tied for third in PAT percentage (.980) ... Earned All-Conference USA honors as a senior ... Won the Lou Groza National Collegiate Place-Kicker Award and was named the College Football Performance National Kicker of the Year in addition to earning an All-American selection as a junior.

 

Personal:

  • Was a three-year letterman at St. Joseph’s Academy where he saw time at wide receiver, kicker and punter.
  • As a senior was named conference and district kicker of the year and earned first-team all-conference and all-district honors.
  • Also as a senior set school records with a 51-yard FG against Monroe Day and broke his own mark later in the game with a 55-yarder.
  • Won the 2009 National Expo Competition in Orlando, hosted by One-on-One Kicking.
  • Also lettered three years in soccer where he scored 57 career goals and had 49 career assists.
  • Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and was part of a high school exchange program at St. Joseph’s Academy.
  • Majored in management.
