Biography

Eric Bieniemy enters his third season as the Kansas City Chiefs running backs coach.

Bieniemy’s tutelage has continued to solidify RB Jamaal Charles as one of the biggest weapons in the NFL in both rushing and receiving. In 2014, Charles recorded 1,000 yards for the fifth time in his career. He also registered five receiving touchdowns and nine rushing. Charles became the all-time leading rusher in franchise history and finished the year with 6,856 career rushing yards. His 5.5 yards per carry average is also the best in Chiefs history. Bieniemy also coached RB Knile Davis to back-to-back 100-yard rushing games, including a 32-yard effort at Miami (9/21/14) in relief of an injured Charles.
