Athletic offensive tackle looks for an expanded role in his third season with the Chiefs … Joined Kansas City as the first of the club’s two sixth-round selections (187th overall) in the 2005 NFL Draft … Was making tremendous progress last year before a knee injury ended his second pro season after three games … Gained valuable experience in NFL Europe with the Frankfurt Galaxy in 2006 … Earned All-NFLEL honors and was part of the Galaxy squad that won World Bowl XIV … Can play either tackle position, but is expected to concentrate his time at left tackle … Possesses the ideal size and strength for an offensive tackle and has tremendous flexibility for a man his size … Is still learning the craft after serving as a defensive end and tight end in college … Has played in three games on special teams and one contest on offense.

• Was a three-sport athlete at Newbury Park High School in Newbury Park, California.

• Registered 87 tackles, 9.0 sacks and five forced fumbles as a defensive end and caught 48 passes for 624 yards with four TDs as a senior tight end.

• Earned honorable mention All-America honors from USA Today as a senior.

• Named the ‘99-00 Ventura County High School Athlete of the Year and California Division II Athlete of the Year by Cal-Hi Student Sports.

• Named all-county and All-CIF as a defensive end and second-team all-state honors at tight end.

• Named to the California-Florida All-Star Game played in the Rose Bowl in 2000.

• League shot put champion with a throw of 59'3".

• Was a two-time National Decathlon Champion.

• Earned first-team all-league and All-Ventura County in basketball as a senior.

• Served as an intern with the Legacy Financial Group during the 2007 off-season.
