Monday Night Football

PITTSBURGH – The Kansas City Chiefs will be without QB Brady Quinn, WR Steve Breaston, DB Tysyn Hartman, LB Bryan Kehl, C Bryan Mattison, DL Jerrell Powe and DT Glenn Dorsey during this Monday Night Football matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. On a wet field, the Chiefs will certainly look towards the run game, and will also be without RB Cyrus Gray.

Chiefs DB Neiko Thorpe (38), who was elevated from the practice squad to the 53-man roster today, is active for tonight’s game and will take Dorsey’s roster spot.

Despite the Chiefs’ losses, Kansas City will be facing a Steelers team that is missing key players as well. QB Charlie Batch, CB DeMarcus Van Dyke, RB Rashard Mendenhall, S Troy Polamalu, LB Stevenson Sylvester, OT Marcus Gilbert, WR Antonio Brown have all been listed as inactive for tonight’s matchup and NT Alameda Ta’amu was released. In his place, WR David Gilreath was added and is also active.
