While the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine begins later today, the official on-field workouts won't begin until Saturday, when the offensive linemen, tight ends and special teams position groups perform in front of NFL general managers, coaches and scouts, trying to earn a job on any one of the 32 teams in the league. Just like last year, both Chiefs general manager John Dorsey (Friday) and head coach Andy Reid (later today) will address the combine media.
The combine schedule operates like clockwork; arrive, test, interview, perform and depart. Players will arrive to the combine by position group in the following order:
Specialists, OL and TEs
* Arrived on Wednesday, Feb. 19, and will complete on-field workouts on Saturday, Feb. 22
QBs, WRs and RBs
* Arrive today, Feb. 20, and will complete on-field workouts on Sunday, Feb. 23
DL and LBs
* Arrive on Friday, Feb. 21 and will complete on-field workouts on Monday, Feb. 24

Each group will complete the following schedule the exact same way, throughout the entirety of the combine.
Day 1 - Register, undergo hospital pre-exams and X-rays, as well as orientation and interviews
Day 2 - Undergo height, weight and body composition measurements, etc., as well as medical examinations, media sessions and interviews
Day 3 - Continue busy schedule, including a meeting with the NFLPA, psychological testing, bench press and interviews
