Chiefs vs. Broncos

Home field advantage has been elusive thus far; however, the Chiefs are 24-15 at Arrowhead when playing the Denver Broncos and are 56-47 overall. Sunday’s contest marks the 105th meeting between Kansas City and Denver and the two clubs have split their season series eight of the last nine seasons.

Injury Update: Ryan Lilja has improved this week but has been dealing with a knee injury and is questionable for Sunday’s game. Branden Albert did not participate in practice this week due to a back injury and is doubtful to play on Sunday. Jon Baldwin, Dwayne Bowe, Steve Maneri and Tony Moeaki are probable, while Jon Asamoah is questionable.

- The Colquitt brothers will be punting against each other for the fifth time this Sunday. They are the first set of brothers known in NFL history since the merger to punt against each other, the Colquitt series is even at 2-2. Below are their individual stats.

- With a 10-yard rush in the first quarter against Cincinnati on Sunday, Nov. 18, RB Jamaal Charles eclipsed 5,000 scrimmage yards in his career. He is the 16th player in team history to record 5,000 or more scrimmage yards.

- Kansas City ranks fifth in the NFL, averaging 51.5 advances (rushes and completions) per game.

- Dwayne Bowe has 405-career receptions to rank fourth in Chiefs history, needing six more catches to move past WR Otis Taylor (410) for third.

- Jamaal Charles has 5,083 career scrimmage yards to rank 15th in team history, needing eight more yards to pass FB Kimble Anders for 14th.

- On Nov. 25, 2001, the Chiefs defeated the Seattle Seahawks, 19-7 at Arrowhead Stadium. RB Priest Holmes rushed for 120 yards on 26 carries (4.6 avg.) FB Tony Richardson scored on a 1-yard run and RB Mike Cloud sealed the game with a 15-yard TD run with 5:45 remaining in regulation.
