Colquitt’s Punting Day: P Dustin Colquitt booted seven punts for 383 yards (54.7 gross, 51.9 net) in today’s contest. His 54.7 gross average is the second-highest single game gross average of his career. His 51.9 net average is the second best single-game net average of his career. It is the second time this season he has recorded a net average of more than 51.0 yards (51.3 vs. San Diego on Sept. 30).

He had a 71-yard punt in the contest, marking his longest punt of the season. It was the fifth-longest punt of his career and his longest punt since booting a 72-yarder at St. Louis (12/19/10). His 71-yard punt is the eighth-longest punt in franchise history.

Colquitt landed four of his seven punts inside the 20 in today’s contest. It is the sixth time this season that he has pinned at least four punts inside the 20 yard line. Entering this weekend, Colquitt led the NFL with 37 punts inside the 20. His 41 punts inside the 20 are tied for the most punts inside the 20 in a single season in team history. Colquitt previously set the mark of 41 punts inside the 20-yard line in 2009. He currently owns the top three marks in franchise history.

Arenas’ Forced Fumble: CB Javier Arenas forced a WR Denarius Moore fumble. It was his first career forced fumble.

Siler Knocks One Loose: LB Brandon Siler forced a fumble of RB Darren McFadden in the fourth quarter of today’s game. It marks his first career forced fumble and was the Chiefs second forced fumble of the day against the Raiders.

Houston Scoops Fumble: LB Justin Houston recovered a RB Darren McFadden fumble. It was his first fumble recovery of the season and was the second fumble recovery of his career.

McCluster Grabs Career-High Receptions: WR Dexter McCluster recorded a career-high seven receptions in today’s contest. His previous career high was six receptions, accomplished four times, the last time coming vs. Oakland (10/28/12). His seven receptions led all Kansas City pass catchers in the game.
