Facts and stats from Thursday's game against the Packers

HAMMOND RECORDS LONG KICKOFF RETURN: WR Frankie Hammond Jr. recorded a 49-yard kickoff return in the second quarter of the contest. He recorded three kick returns for 105 yards (35.0 avg.) in preseason action.

 
He added one eight-yard reception in tonight’s game.
 
JENKINS HAULS IN LONG RECEPTION: WR A.J. Jenkins caught a 45-yard pass from QB Tyler Bray, marking Kansas City’s longest pass reception of the night. His 45 yards receiving yards led all Chiefs pass catchers. Jenkins finished the preseason with two receptions for 51 yards (25.5 avg.).

WILLIAMS HAS STRONG DAY RECEIVING: WR Fred Williams caught three passes for 44 yards (14.7 avg.). Williams finished the preseason with four receptions for 51 yards (12.8 avg.).
 
GORDON GRABS SCORE: TE Richard Gordon caught a two-yard touchdown pass from QB Tyler Bray in the second quarter of tonight’s game. It marks Gordon’s first reception of the preseason.
 
LOVE RECORDS SACK: DT Kyle Love dropped Packers QB Scott Tolzien for a seven-yard sack, marking his first sack of the preseason.
 
COLQUITT DROPS PUNTS INSIDE 20: P Dustin Colquitt punted four times for 180 yards (45.0 gross, 38.5 net) with two inside the 20-yard line in tonight’s game. Colquitt is the franchise’s all-time leader with 285 career punts inside the 20-yard line. That mark ties him for 13th in NFL history. In the 2014 preseason, Colquitt has punted 18 times for 845 yards (46.9 gross, 40.8 net) with eight inside the 20-yard line and a long of 71 yards.
 
MCCRAY LEADS TEAM IN TACKLES: Recently acquired S Kelcie McCray recorded six solo tackles to pace the Chiefs defense in the contest.
 
LB Frank Zombo, LB Nico Johnson and S Jonathon Amaya each recorded six tackles (five solo) in the contest.
 
MCKNIGHT FINDS END ZONE: RB Joe McKnight led all Chiefs rushers with 10 carries for 50 yards (5.0 avg.) in tonight’s contest, including a one-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter of the contest. McKnight finished the preseason as the club’s third-leading rusher with 12 carries for 58 yards (4.8 avg.) with one rushing touchdown.
 
WILSON LEADS KICK RETURN EFFORT, CATCHES TEAM-HIGH FOUR BALLS: WR Albert Wilson recorded three kick returns for 60 yards (20.0 avg.) in the game. Wilson finished the preseason with five kick returns for 138 yards (27.6 avg.) and a long of 65 yards to lead all Chiefs kick returners in number of kick returns and total return yards.
 
Wilson hauled in four receptions for 34 yards (8.5 avg.) in the contest. His four pass receptions paced all Chiefs receivers in the game.
