Slate is expected to participate in OTA #10 on Monday.
Although he went undrafted this April, Slate had some mid-round projections by some scouting services, but a knee injury ended his senior season early and likely caused him to slide down draft boards as he rehabilitated.
In 2006 he became the first freshman to lead Marshall in receiving since WR Randy Moss. He also led the Thundering Herd in receivnig as a sophomore and was leading the team as a senior prior to suffering injury.
