By now, you’ve heard about some of the cool things the Chiefs are planning to do this year in celebration of 50 years in Kansas City (here is a video of Clark Hunt talking about the organization’s plans).
We saw the tip of the iceberg last weekend with each season ticket account gifted a fully-customizable Nike jersey. These are the tackle-twill premier jerseys with nameplates and all, not your standard screen print replica. Pretty cool gesture. Actually, an NFL first.
As a season ticket holder myself, my wife is pretty pumped about getting one of the new Nike women’s jerseys. She’s wants No. 1 as her number so it will read “Looney-One” (I can’t escape the last name even at home, but whatever…).
Anyway, after gaining positive fan feedback about the possibility of mini-pack plans, the Chiefs ticket office announced another cool opportunity this morning with the unveiling of a two unique ticket packs.
One of the plans is a “Divisional 3-Pack,” which celebrates the longstanding AFC West rivalries that we’ve enjoyed throughout the years. This type of ticket pack is a first for the team and ensures your ability to secure top seats before single game tickets go on sale to the general public.
Also, the Chiefs are introducing a half-season “Pick 5” plan. Pick any four regular season games and pair it with a preseason contest.
Personally, I’d choose to see the Seahawks game this preseason since most of the starters play through the third quarter of the third preseason game. But the choice is yours, obviously. Click here to learn more.
Single game tickets will be available at a later date that is still TBD.
It’s also worth mentioning that full Season Ticket packages start at just $250 and come with a personalized Nike jersey if an account of two or more tickets is opened. The offer stands through September, so there’s that!
Stay tuned for more exciting things planned to honor fans in the 50th year of the Chiefs being in Kansas City. Not all of the plans are ticket related. In fact, most of the celebration is unrelated to tickets and geared toward the community as a whole.
