Chiefs Red and Gold will return for it's third season starting Saturday, March 8th at 10:30 PM CT on KCTV5 in Kansas City. This weekly show covers everything happening at One Arrowhead Drive and takes a look at the history of the franchise in Kansas City and all over the Kingdom.
We'll be bringing you exclusive content each week, such as interviews with players and coaches and go behind the scenes at Arrowhead Stadium. This show will also provide Draft and Free Agency coverage, offseason preparations, plus, Voice of the Chiefs Mitch Holthus and a weekly guest will break down the Chiefs roster and give fans their thoughts on the state of the team each week.
Here’s a preview of this week’s episode.
Each week, we will highlight a specific Chiefs player and hear the thoughts and opinions of the local media members who covered their season all year long.
This week, we talk about Kansas City Chiefs signal caller,
Smith threw only seven interceptions last year to lead the league for the fewest interceptions thrown among all quarterbacks with a minimum of 300 attempts. His 1.4 interception percentage is the best mark in the NFL of quarterbacks with a minimum of 350 attempts in 2013.
Some members of the Kansas City media gave us their opinion on Smith’s performance, demeanor and athleticism.
One on One
The show also features a one on one segment with a player or coach. Earlier this week, I sat down with head coach Andy Reid.
Chiefs Live Overdrive
This year, we added a new segment with Voice of the Chiefs Mitch Holthus and a special weekly guest. For Chiefs Live, Mitch and his guest this week, Nick Jacobs, discuss their thoughts on the top performers from the NFL Scouting Combine.
In Access Arrowhead, we give fans a behind the scenes look at Chiefs events, the draft, the free agency process and more. This week, we take a look at the 101 Awards and hear from Chiefs General Manager John Dorsey, Chiefs President Mark Donovan, Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt and NFL Network’s Paul Burmeister.
