Just before the NFL’s trade deadline on Tuesday afternoon, Scott Pioli executed the ninth trade in his tenure as Kansas City’s general manager by sending DL ![]()
Magee was the Chiefs 3rd-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft and had played mostly a reserve role with the club since arriving in Kansas City. He played in 17 games (one start) with the Chiefs and tallied 11 tackles, 2.0 sacks and four QB pressures. Magee was inactive last week in Houston.
By trading Magee, Kansas City now has an open roster slot to either sign a free agent or promote a player from the eight-man practice squad.
