CHIEFS TO HOLD ELECTRONICS RECYCLING EVENT

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – As part of the club’s effort to uphold a business practice that focuses on corporate responsibility to our environment, the Chiefs are holding an electronics recycling event in Lot C at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the help of Vintage Tech Recyclers.

If fans have old electronics taking up space at home, this is their opportunity to drop items off to be recycled.

The following items are accepted free of charge: Computers, laptops, monitors, LCDs, cell phones, printers, scanners, modems, CD drives, cables, keyboards, mice, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, camcorders, cameras, game players and joysticks, telephones, pagers, answering machines, typewriters, calculators, adding machines, fax machines and copiers.

There will be a $15 fee for tube televisions and a $25 fee for CLP and wooden console televisions.
