CHIEFS RELEASE TE T.C. DRAKE, WR CHANDLER WILLIAMS

Both players were released on Thursday afternoon

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that the club has released TE T.C. Drake and WR Chandler Williams.

Drake caught 20 passes for 281 yards with one TD in 49 career games (19 starts) at the University of Kentucky. Williams spent two weeks on the Chiefs practice squad in 2009. He originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection (233rd overall) of Minnesota in the 2007 NFL Draft after playing collegiately at Florida International.
