CHIEFS RELEASE LB MICHAEL JOHNSON

Johnson was a rookie free agent out of North Alabama

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Wednesday that the club has released LB Michael Johnson.

Johnson played in 49 games (44 starts) at North Alabama, registering 365 tackles (172 solo), 8.5 sacks, five INTs, nine passes defensed, four fumble recoveries and six forced fumbles. The Panama City, Florida native played running back and defensive end at Bay High School.
