CHIEFS PROMOTE S RICKY PRICE TO THE 53-MAN ROSTER

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Saturday that the club has signed S Ricky Price to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.

 

Price (6-1, 195) spent the first eight games of the season on the Chiefs practice squad. He appeared in two games for Kansas City a year ago after joining the club as a rookie free agent. He saw action in 49 games (34 starts) at Oklahoma State, recording 159 tackles (109 solo), 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks (-19.0 yards), an INT and 11 passes defensed. Price prepped at Cypress Falls High School in Houston, Texas.

The club released LB Charlie Anderson. Anderson played in two games with Kansas City in 2010 after signing with the club as a free agent.
