WHY: TeamSmile creates connections between volunteer dental professionals, professional athletic organizations, and children's service groups to provide underserved kids a life changing experience in which the excitement and allure of high profile sports reinforces the value of life-long commitment to dental health and oral hygiene. Its mission is to provide no cost oral health education, screening, treatment and preventative care to underserved children and youth in the greater Kansas City area and throughout the United States.

The Chiefs are strong advocates of living a healthy lifestyle and continue to support TeamSmile and the work they do to improve the oral health of children in the greater Kansas City area. This is another example of the Kansas City Chiefs commitment to playing an active role in our community. The Hunt family has made corporate citizenship and charitable giving a priority for the Chiefs, emphasizing many areas, including improving health and wellness among children while preserving the legacy and history of the game of football.
