CHIEFS ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVES, TRADE PAGE TO NEW ENGLAND

Chiefs release 13, place two on IR and trade Jarrad Page

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Saturday that the club has released 13 players: G Colin Brown, DT Garrett Brown, DE/DT Dion Gales, T Bobby Greenwood, G Darryl Harris, LB David Herron, DT Derek Lokey, S DaJuan Morgan, QB Tyler Palko, S Ricky Price, WR Verran Tucker, LB Pierre Walters and RB Javarris Williams. In addition, the club placed CB/S Maurice Leggett and WR Jerheme Urban on the Reserve/Injured List.

The Chiefs also traded S Jarrad Page to New England in exchange for an undisclosed draft selection.

Page (6-0, 225) played in 53 games (39 starts) with Kansas City, registering 204 tackles (179 solo), a sack (-3.0 yards), 10 INTs for 69 yards, 24 passes defensed, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and 17 special teams tackles. The Oakland, California native entered the NFL as a seventh-round draft pick (228th overall) of the Chiefs in 2006.
