CHIEFS ADD TE KYLE NELSON TO THE PRACTICE SQUAD

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that the team has added TE Kyle Nelson to the practice squad. The club released OL Butch Lewis from the practice squad.

Nelson (6-2, 240) entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with New Orleans in 2011. He played in 50 games at New Mexico State, catching 66 passes for 559 yards with two touchdowns. He tallied 50 receptions as a senior at China Spring High School in Waco, Texas.
