CHIEFS ADD LB ERIC BAKHTIARI TO PRACTICE SQUAD

Bakhtiari was with Tennessee in 2009

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that the club has added LB Eric Bakhtiari (pronounced bock-TAR-ee) to the practice squad. Bakhtiari played in three games with Tennessee in 2009, posting six special teams tackles.

He has also spent time on the practice squad with Miami (2010), Tennessee (2009), Tampa Bay (2009), San Francisco (2008, 2010) and San Diego (2008). He originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with San Diego in 2008. He was a three-time Pioneer League first-team selection at the University of San Diego.

Bakhtiari prepped at Burlingame High School in Burlingame, California.
