BELCHER SIGNS RFA TENDER

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday that LB Jovan Belcher has signed his restricted free agent tender.

Belcher (6-2, 228) has played in 48 games (34 starts) in three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has tallied 250 tackles (172 solo), 1.0 sack (-9.0 yards), nine QB pressures, two passes defensed and a forced fumble. Additionally, Belcher owns 18 special teams tackles. The University of Maine graduate originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Chiefs in 2009.
