A five-year pro out of Arkansas, Ugoh entered the NFL with Indianapolis as the 42nd overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. The 28-year old appeared in 40 career games (28 starts) with the Colts and N.Y. Giants. He was part of New York's Super Bowl run last season after signing with the team in early December.
“Guys sometimes lose interest,” Winston said. “I respect him for backing away more so than anything. There are a lot of guys trying to fake it and pick up another paycheck. The thing about this game is it’s hard to fake it, and I think he knew that. He was just ready to move on.’’
