Fans and members of the business community will have the opportunity to see all of their favorite Chiefs players up close and personal at the 2012 Chiefs Kickoff Luncheon, Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012. The event, which will be at the Kansas City Convention Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. will benefit the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.
For more than 40 years, the Kansas City Chiefs have celebrated the start of the NFL season with the opportunity for the community and fans to be introduced to the newest members of the team as well as their favorite veteran players and the coaching staff. Tickets are now available for the event through the Chamber at http://www.kcchamber.com/Programs-Events.aspx.
“There’s no better way to mark 50 years in Kansas City than to partner with the Chamber on the Chiefs Kickoff Luncheon,” said Chiefs President Mark Donovan. “We’re excited for the community to come together with the entire team and celebrate the beginning of another Chiefs season in Kansas City.”
This unique opportunity is the only annual event that features the entire Kansas City Chiefs roster, including coaches, players and cheerleaders. Notable speakers will be on hand to address attendees, including Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, General Manager Scott Pioli, Head Coach Romeo Crennel and Chamber President and CEO Jim Heeter.
“The 2012 season is sure to be an exciting one for the Chiefs,” Heeter said. “I can’t imagine a better way for fans of all ages to celebrate its commencement and fuel their own passion for the game.”
Sponsorship packages are available, some of which include exclusive meet and greet opportunities with players and coaches. Single admission tickets cost $75.
