Ticket Windows Open all day Tuesday through Wednesday

The advanced sale of tickets to this Wednesday’s Clasico Bud Light professional soccer match between long-time rivals Club Deportivo Guadalajara S.A. de C.V. (Chivas) and Club America may be made at the box offices around Kaufmann Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals, it was announced today.

Ticket windows at Kaufmann will open at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 15th through 5:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 9:00 AM through the event which is slated to begin at 8:30 that night with parking lots opening at 5:30 PM. The ticket windows are located on the South side of the baseball stadium facing Lot M and Arrowhead Stadium. Tickets may also be purchased at Ticketmaster Outlets, and via the Internet at www.Ticketmaster.com and www.kcchiefs.com. Group ticket packages are also available through the Chiefs at 816/920-4539.

Prices range from $25, $35, $50, and $75 and an area in Lot M (between Kaufmann and Arrowhead) will feature Futbol Fiesta beginning at 5:30 PM to include interactive games, free giveaways and other entertainment.

Both club Deportivo Chivas and Club America are among Mexico’s premier First Division teams and have a long history of competition dating back to 1943. Club Deportivo boasts a record 11 league titles while America has 10. The match is sponsored by Bud Light, Jose Cuervo and Boost Mobile and marketed by Soccer United Marketing who holds all commercial rights to Major League Soccer, the U.S. Soccer Federation, and the Mexican National Team.
