Six-Game Winning Streak at Oakland: The Chiefs became the first team to ever win six consecutive road games
vs. the Raiders.

Thigpen Wins First Game: QB Tyler Thigpen won his first NFL start at the age of 24 years, 7 months and 23
days. He is the youngest QB to win his first game for the club since QB Todd Blackledge (23 years, 6 months and seven
days) did it at Pittsburgh (9/2/84).
Defensive Notes: The Chiefs allowed a season-low 13 points and 271 yards of total offense. It was the fewest
points permitted since a 13-10 OT loss at the N.Y. Jets (12/30/07) and the fewest yards allowed since giving up 236 at
Detroit (12/23/07).
Goin’ Gonzo: TE Tony Gonzalez played in his 186th game as a member of the Chiefs, tying Hall of Fame K Jan
Stenerud for the fourth-highest total in Chiefs history. Gonzalez has a reception in 127 consecutive games, the
second-longest mark by a tight end in NFL history. Only Ozzie Newsome (150) has a longer streak. Gonzalez now has
registered six consecutive 70-reception seasons. He also registered his 26th career 100-yard receiving game, the most
by a tight end in NFL history.

Special Teams TD: CB Maurice Leggett scored a 67-yard fumble return TD on a failed fake field goal attempt by
the Raiders. It was the first fumble recovery of his career. It was Kansas City’s first TD on special teams since S
Bernard Pollard blocked and a recovered a punt in the end zone vs. Jacksonville (12/31/06).
Johnson’s Day: RB Larry Johnson scored a two-yard rushing TD, his fourth rushing TD of the season and the
54th of his career.
Turnover Stats: CB Brandon Flowers recovered a RB Justin Fargas fumble that was forced by LB Rocky Boiman. It
was the second fumble recovery of the season for Flowers.
Drive Time: Kansas City’s 16-play TD drive in the fourth quarter consumed 9:24 off the clock. It was Kansas
City’s longest drive in terms of time of possession and number of plays this season.
Barth Keeps Connecting: K Connor Barth hit FGs of 38 and 28 yards. He has now hit his first eight FG attempts
as a member of the Chiefs.
The Bowe Show: WR Dwayne Bowe has 1,746 receiving yards, moving ahead of WR Otis Taylor (1,743) for the
second-highest receiving yardage total by a player in his first two seasons with the Chiefs.

Colquitt Notes: P Dustin Colquitt (286) moved ahead of P Jim Arnold (284) for the third-highest total of
career punts in KC history.
