Stat of the Week
144.7 NET PASSING YARDS PER GAME
The Kansas City defensive backfield features a multitude of young players, including three in the starting lineup
who have three years or less of experience. S Jon McGraw and CB Patrick Surtain provide the veteran leadership among
the group. Surtain is joined in the starting lineup by third-year safeties Jarrad Page and Bernard Pollard as well as
rookie CB Brandon Flowers. Fellow rookies CB Brandon Carr and S DaJuan Morgan will also see considerable action this
year. The Chiefs secondary is allowing only 144.7 net passing yards per game through the first three preseason games, a
total that ranks fourth in the NFL.
