184 RED ZONE POINTS ALLOWED

Kansas City ranked third in the NFL by allowing only 184 points in the Red Zone on 43 drives in 2007. The Chiefs permitted 16 touchdowns and 24 FGs from inside the Red Zone a year ago. Kansas City’s opponents averaged 4.3 points every time they entered the 20-yard line. San Diego led the NFL by allowing only 162 Red Zone points, while Tampa Bay was second with 173 points.
