Chiefs Add TE Jason Adkisson to Practice Squad

Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Wednesday that the club added TE James Adkisson as the
eighth member of the team’s practice squad.
Adkisson (6-5, 230) originally entered the NFL as rookie free agent with Cincinnati in 2003 and has
appeared in two games with Oakland, making one catch for nine yards. Adkisson has also spent time on the Raiders
practice squad from 2003-06 and saw duty for the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europa in 2004, catching 11 passes for 156
yards and a touchdown.
The South Carolina alum appeared in 17 games in two seasons with the Gamecocks, hauling in 26 passes for 339 yards
and one TD. The St. Louis native also participated on the South Carolina track team after earning Junior College
All-America honors at Kemper Military Academy in Boonville, MO.
