Q: Are you glad for a break now?

CROYLE: “Yes and no. Once you get in a rhythm and get going, you kind of want to keep going because you have to come back and start from ground zero again. At the same time bodies need to rest and get ready for a long season.”

Q: Do you think your confidence level raises every practice and every rep?

CROYLE: “Yeah, that’s pretty safe to say. I’m feeling more and more comfortable and more and more confident about getting used to where my receivers are going to be. Hopefully in training camp we can get even better.”

Q: What will you do for the next month?

CROYLE: “Get married. That’s about it. Work out, get ready (for camp) and get married.”

Q: What’s going to be more nerve wracking – stepping out on the football field or watching her walk down the aisle?

CROYLE: “Football will be a piece of cake probably.”

Q: What does this offense require of a quarterback, whether it be you or Damon? What’s the guy who wins the starting quarterback spot going to have to do well?

CROYLE: “Get the ball to the guys that make the Pro Bowl every year. You’ve got the best tight end that has probably ever played. You’ve got one of the best running backs in the league and you’ve got a very good group of receivers. It’s just a matter of knowing where to go with the ball and what coverage and what holes to hit. If you do that than you’ll be successful.”

Q: As you look ahead to training camp, what do you think you need to do to win the starting job?

CROYLE: “All I can worry about is getting better every day and if they call my number for the first game, they call it. If not, I’ve just got to keep working.”

Q: Have you been pleased so far with your progress this off season?

CROYLE: “I have. I’ve gotten a lot better since day one and feel a lot more confident. Hopefully I can carry that over to training camp.”

Q: What have you been able to learn from Damon and Trent, while at the same time competing with them?

CROYLE: “For a young guy coming into the league, you couldn’t ask for two better guys to learn from. They aren’t guys that are going to try to withhold stuff from you. Anything they know they are willing to share with you. They’ve taught me a lot.”
