Chiefs to Host New Kids Camp at Arrowhead June 20th

Arrowhead Stadium and the Chiefs Practice Facility will play host to the Chiefs Inaugural Kids Camp on Wednesday, June 20th. The Chiefs Kids Camp features a curriculum designed for both boys and girls ages 5 to 12 years old, with an emphasis on physical fitness, fun, teamwork and character building.

The one day, four hour camp will include a welcome from Chiefs Head Coach Herm Edwards, an introduction to football with a current Chiefs players, a sneak peek at a Chiefs practice session, as well as special appearances by KC Wolf and the Chiefs Cheerleaders.

What: Chiefs Kids Camp for Boys and Girls

When: Wednesday, June 20th

Time: Noon to 4PM

Location: Chiefs Practice Facility at the Truman Sports Complex

Details: One day, four hour camp with emphasis on physical fitness, fun, teamwork and character building. Including visits from Herm Edwards, current Chiefs players, KC Wolf and the Chiefs Cheerleaders. As well as a sneak peek at a Chiefs practice.

11:45-12:15pm CHECK-IN (Next to Chiefs practice field)
 
12:00 – 1:30 pm CHIEFS TIME! (Practice field and indoor practice field)

Camp participants and one parent or chaperone will watch the Chiefs practice and then go inside the Chiefs Indoor Practice Facility for a motivating talk with Chiefs Head Coach, Herm Edwards and one of the Chiefs football players.

One parent or chaperone only and please, no siblings

1:30-1:45pm    Football Basics

1:45-1:55pm    Water Break and Visit with a Chiefs Equipment Manager

1:55-2:10pm    Football Olympics

2:10-2:25pm    Water Break and Heart Habits taught by Chiefs Cheerleaders

2:25-2:40pm    Football Relays

2:40-3:00pm    Time with KC Wolf- Have a blast with KC Wolf! Activities involve field races, best touchdown celebration and “believe in yourself” talk!

3:00-4:00pm    Stadium Time- Parents will drive their child to Lot E at Arrowhead Stadium and enter the player’s tunnel from Lot E. Bring your camera for pictures of the stadium and the Player’s Locker room!  Take photos with KC Wolf, the Cheerleaders and the Red & Gold Girls, plus get autographs at the end of camp.
