Your fans and support team are welcome on the race route, inside Arrowhead to watch you finish and at the post-race celebration.

Participants may pick up their race packets at the Tower Club East at Arrowhead Stadium on May 9th from Noon until 7pm.
The charity partner for the Chiefs 5K is the United Way of Greater Kansas City.
Can I walk the 5K?
Absolutely! Walk or run, all are welcome to participate. We will ask that walkers start toward the back of the group for everyone’s safety
Do I have to pay for parking?
No, parking is free for participants and spectators of the Chiefs 5K.
Where do I park as a spectator?
If you arrive before 8:45 am, follow the directions of the Chiefs parking personnel to Lot G or H. After 8:45 you’ll be directed Lot N.
Where is the packet pick up?
Packet pick up will be held at Arrowhead Stadium in the Tower Club East on Friday, May 9th from Noon until 7:00PM. (Please park in Lot M located between Arrowhead and Kauffman).
Does the race go on in the event of bad weather?
Just like the pros on Sundays, a little bit of rain won’t stop us and the run will go on. Severe weather or other adverse conditions that are deemed by race staff to be unsafe for participants may result in a delay to the start or cancellation of the run.
How do I register?
You can visit www.chiefs5k.com and register online.
Can I register in person day of the event or at packet pick up?
Yes, provided space is still available.
Is there an age limit for younger runners?
We ask that all individuals running or walking the course be at least 13 years of age. Anyone that is running or walking the course must be registered and wear a Chiefs 5K race bib.
Can I run with a jogging stroller?
Yes. We do request you begin at the back of the race starting line for safety. Children riding in a stroller need not be registered for the race.
Can I have spectators attend and watch me run and finish on the 50?
Yes! Bring your cheering squad and have them watch you cross the finish line from the stands!
Can non-participants stay for the post-race experience?
Are dogs or other pets allowed at the Chiefs 5K?
Unfortunately, no. Pets and other animals are not allowed at the Chiefs 5K or inside Arrowhead Stadium. Service animals will be permitted access as per the ADA.
Are there refunds?
Registration fees are non-refundable.
Can I transfer my registration?
Yes. You can visit https://myevents.active.com/ to transfer your registration to another runner.
Is the Chiefs 5K a timed event?
The Chiefs 5K is not a timed event. We do encourage self-timing for those wanting to keep track of finish time.
Will race results be posted online?
Because the Chiefs 5K is not a timed event, results will not be posted.
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes. They will need to bring with them a printout of your email confirmation of registration and sign for your packet.
Is there a charity partner for the Chiefs 5K?
Yes, a portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit The United Way of Greater Kansas City.
