Join us on May 23rd for the 3rd annual Chiefs 5K featuring a one-of-a-kind finish on The University of Kansas Hospital Training Complex 50 yard line. Feel the rush of excitement experiencing Arrowhead like never before. Participants will run down the player entrance tunnel, through the Hall of Honor presented by Time Warner Cable, up the Hy-Vee spiral, across the upper level and down the Sprint Spiral.

Whether you run or walk, come in first or just run for fun, the Post-Race Celebration is for everyone. Music, Chiefs Cheerleaders, KC Wolf and special Chiefs guests will kick off the excitement.
Cheering fans are welcome! Your fans and support team are welcome on the race route and at the post-race celebration.

Where will the race begin?
The race will begin on the West Side of the Truman Sports Complex near Lot N.
What time does the race start?
The race begins at 9:00, we encourage runners to arrive early. We will have pre-race entertainment to pump you up for the Chiefs 5K.
How much is parking?
Parking is free for this event at Arrowhead Stadium.
Where do I park?
Parking will be available in Lot N and H, follow the directions of the Chiefs parking personnel on site. After 8:45 Gate 5 at Raytown Road will be closed to allow for race participant traffic.
Where is Packet Pick-up?
Packet pickup will be help at Arrowhead Stadium May 21nd from Noon-7PM in the North Club. (Please Park in Lot M)

Can I register in person day of the event or at packet pick up?
Yes, provided space is available.
Is there an age limit for younger runners?
We recommend that all participants running or walking be at least 13 years old. Anyone that is running or walking the course must be registered and wear a Chiefs 5k race bib.
Can I run with a jogging stroller?
Yes, we do request you begin at the back of the race starting line for safety. Children riding in strollers do not need to be registered.
Can I have spectators attend and watch me finish on the 50?
Yes! Spectators will be allowed into the Training Complex to be a part of the Finish on the 50.
Can non-participants stay for the post-race experience?
What can I expect at the post-race party?
We will have a DJ, Cheerleaders, KC Wolf, Chiefs inflatables for kids, and much more!
Are dogs or other pets allowed at the Chiefs 5K?
Unfortunately, no. Pets and other animals are not allowed at the Chiefs 5K. Service Animals will be permitted access per ADA guidelines.
Are there refunds?
Registration fees are non-refundable.
Can I transfer my registration?
Yes, visit https://myevents.active.com to transfer your registration to another runner.
Is the Chiefs 5K a timed event?
The Chiefs 5k in not a timed event. We do encourage self-timing for those wanting to keep track of finish time.
Can someone else pick up my packet?
Yes. They will need to bring a printout of your email confirmation and sign for your packet.
Is there a charity partner for the Chiefs 5K?
