ARROWHEAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

Due to construction and loss of roadway use inside the Truman Sports Complex, familiar traffic patterns are different or may be blocked.  Following are a few points to keep in mind when you’re traveling out to Arrowhead for Chiefs games this season:

INSIDE THE COMPLEX

• Red reserve parking is not Lot specific.  You will be directed to the closest red reserve lot available to accommodate you as quickly as possible.
• To access Gold D and Gold E lots, enter Gate 5.
• To access Gold M, Gold B and Gold H lots, enter Gates 2,3, or 6.
• Remember Lot M has fewer spaces, so when it’s full you will be directed to Gold B or Gold H.
• Busses and RV parking is available in the gravel lot behind Lot N.  Enter through Gate 6.  Grass parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in many areas; however the vehicle cannot block a roadway.
• The interior roads on the east and west sides of Arrowhead Stadium (Lancer Lane & Red Coat Drive) are blocked due to construction.
• For those who typically park in the grass, construction trailers may now fill your favorite spot.

Please arrive early and follow the direction of traffic personnel.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation.  A parking map is shown below.

CURRENT ROAD OBSTRUCTIONS – OUTSIDE THE COMPLEX

The Chiefs will stay in close contact with the city and state to provide you updates on both road construction projects.

Police officers and guest service staff are on duty throughout Arrowhead Stadium during the game. Patrons in need of assistance should notify the nearest police officer or stadium staff member, or go to the Fans First Booths – Powered by Sprint - located on each level.

UPDATE for the 2009 season – Due to construction, Limousines and Taxis will be parked on the north side of Lot A. RVs, Motorhomes and Mini-buses will need to enter the sports complex through Gate 6. We ask ALL Chiefs fans to follow the directions of our traffic staff when entering the complex for Chiefs games.

IMPORTANT PARKING AND TAILGATING INFORMATION FOR CHIEFS FANS:

1. One vehicle per parking space.

2. Parking passes and parking spaces are for vehicles only, and cannot be used for trailers, grills, tables, additional tailgating spaces, etc.

3. All vehicles pulling a trailer of any kind will be charged for an extra parking space and must park in the grass.

4. You must tailgate in front of or behind your vehicle.

5. Saving spaces is not permitted.

6. Parking passes do not guarantee a specific parking spot.

7. Roadways, aisles, and other parking spaces must be kept free of tailgating equipment so that vehicles may park or pass.

8. If your vehicle is too large to fit in the 8’X16’ space in the lot, you must park in the back of the lot or in the grass.

9. Violations of these policies may result in the loss of reserved parking and/or purchase of season tickets.
